So you have decided to restore the interior of your early Lotus Elan.   The interior door handle has pulled off or is hanging by a thread.  Upon disassembly you realize there is almost no metal holding the door handle, ashtray, door armrest assembly together as shown in the picture below.  Save days of work with these parts.

Lotus Elan S1, S2, 26R Outer Door Armrest Support parts.  Both the steel support and the plywood support.   Set includes both right side and left side and both plywood parts.   All holes pre-drilled.  This part fits just like it did when it left the factory.  Even the brass rivets are supplied.  Don’t spend days trying to repair the rusted out or rotted originals.  These are brand new and can save you days of fabrication.  Fits under the vinyl door arm rest pads.  First time offered, not available for decades.
